Innovation Prize - 5th edition

Dear Entrepreneurs,
We are excited to announce the launch of the 5th edition of the Innovation Prize by AGORA Student Union, the ESCP Foundation, and Blue Factory. The Innovation Prize is designed to support and recognise innovative ventures led by ESCP students and/or recent alumnus. Once again this year we propose to the winners 3 amazing prizes that will help them bring their venture to the next level:
Prizes valuation breakdown:
ESCP Foundation Prize of the Best Venture: €8,000 + 6 months of mentoring sessions from Blue Factory. This prize is open to all eligible participants of the ‘Innovation Prize’ competition.
BPCE Prize: €4,000 + 3 months mentoring sessions from Blue Factory. This prize is exclusively open to participants who have registered their company legal status at the latest on the 25/05/2025.
Jury’s Favourite Prize: €4,000 + 3 months mentoring sessions from Blue Factory. This prize is open to all eligible participants of the ‘Innovation Prize’ competition.
Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

The Innovation Prize Competition aims at promoting and rewarding the ESCP Entrepreneurial Spirit. It is for this reason that the competition is open to all projects that are in the prototype stage (working on a product prototype or just entering the market) and of which at least one of the co-founders (or founder) is currently enrolled at ESCP Business School or is a recent alumnus (less than 3 years) of ESCP Business School.
If you complete those criteria your project will be evaluated based on the following aspects:
The team's ability to carry out the project,
The maturity of the product/service to be commercialized within the next 6 to 12 months,
Demonstration of the need and relevance of the solution,
Innovation and added value of the solution,
Potential for development.

In the general competition, automatically open to all ventures that registered the legal registration of the status is not mandatory, except for the winners who will need to be registered at the latest on December 31st 2025.
However, for the Prize BPCE, an additional criterion of eligibility applies as the company needs to already legally exist prior to the deadline of the competition application period (proof of the status deposition will be required). Those following this addition criteria will be eligible for all 3 prizes.

Our Process

The Innovation Prize is a multi-stage entrepreneurial competition, once we have received all of the applications for the 2025 edition the first round of selection will be done.

It will be reviewed by the Innovation Prize team, who will pre-select up to 20 applications.
The pre-selection results will be announced starting the week of June 9th, and selected candidates will proceed to the interview phase
In total, 6 to 8 projects will be selected to pitch online in front of the jury on Wednesday, July 9th. The jury will then select the 3 winners of the Innovation Prize 2025 edition.
